| Thornburg took great pride in being able to route passengers the quickest or most scenic way to their destination as they desired. Here George is stamping a multi coupon ticket. Actually, this is staged photo, the customer is a reporter for the Tribune. The sad note of this is: George Thornburg was to retire when the depot closed, but he died September 18th of a heart attack. |
