NKP Publications
Below you will find a list of Nickel Plate Road books, magazines, and diagrams published over the years. Publications for sale by the NKPHTS are noted in the 4th column (visit our Company Store). It is possible to find some publications not offered by the society, or out of print, at hobby shops, train shows, railroad museums, eBay, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Golden Spike, Railpub, AllBookStores, and Stephans Railroad History, just to mention a few sources. You may also wish to visit Railserve's Antiques and Collectibles page for links to other sources. A few sources have been found for some of the out of print books (look in the “COMMENTS” column), but may be sold out since the source was posted as many supplies were limited to one copy.
The N.Y.C&St.L. Railroad also published an employee magazine (also called "The Nickel Plate Road Magazine") monthly or bi-monthly from 1948-1964. There may be some issues of those magazines available from the sources listed above.
