Financial Help for NKP Preservation Projects

While the NKPHTS does not itself engage in preservation of equipment or structures, the Society has a charitable fund, the McCaleb-Rehor Prototype Preservation Fund, that provides grants to other charitable organizations of up to $3,000 for qualifying preservation projects. In recent years, the Society has made grants from this fund for preservation work on NKP engines, cabooses and other rolling stock, depots, and other items.
